"Why have you got such and attitude? You know, when someone is trying to be nice you usually are gracious." Sophie commented, studying his wand for the first time. It was very nice actually. She wasn't sure exactly what it was made of but it was beautiful and probably casted spells marvelously. "Why is that?" She asked, referring of course to his rudeness. He really did intrigue her. "My name is Sophie by the way, so we can get introductions out of the way." She smiled courteously, still spinning his wand between her fingers.

He saw her studying his wand "I'm jakub. And it's made of hazel with dragon heartstring."

"Wonderful. Must work great for you." She handed him his wand with no problems, pulling out her own. "Mines Yew, seven inches, core of unicorn hair. I love it." She smiled and held it out for him in case he wanted to see hers.
"You seem troubled." Sophie told Jakub "If you would like to talk of it go ahead. Maybe there's nothing wrong I don't know. I'm no therapist but I'm a good listener." Sophie was a very caring person and couldn't seem to leave anyone and any mood other than happy.

"You should be more careful. If I didn't want to get in trouble already, i could've just grabbed both our wands."He was wondering if he should've done that... "Theres nothing wrong. I just don't like being told what to do." he told her.

Sophie contemplated this for a moment before replying to him. "I don't think you would've done that. You don't seem like the type of person." In any matter, Sophie took her wand back anyway.
"You should be more careful as well. If I weren't such a nice person you could have been in a whole lot of trouble. Even worse if a teacher came along. Then you be pretty well done for free time wouldn't you?" Sophie smiled to him before crossing her legs and sticking her wand behind her ear.

"Thats because you don't know me. I would've if it were later in the year, or if i didn't care as much if i got in trouble." he said. He made a point not to smile back at her. "I really don't care. In a couple weeks, i'll be getting as many detentions as most people get in all 7 years." He put his wand back in his pocket.

"Well aren't you such a bad boy?" Sophie commented on his remark of the detentions. "Why are you hoping to get so many detentions? Aiming to break a school record or something?" She asked curiously. Honestly who wants detention? "That might cut your free time short by a lot." Sophie frowned at this thought. Personally, she had only been in detention once in her first year for throwing dung bombs down a highly filled hallway. She had been egged on by a few sixth years and only wanted to seem cool.

"I'm not hoping too, it'd be better if I didn't, but it's not going to stop me from doing what I love." he answered. She thought he wanted detention! Who would? "I don't care about my free time, having fun is funner."

"Well, what is it that you do that gets you detention?" She inquired further. Ok, at least he didn't want detention. But what could you possible do to deserve that many detentions. Sophie began staring out the window at the sky, the clouds were beginning to grow darker and the air grew cold. She could feel it through the open window. It sent chills through her spine as she felt a few drops of water on her face, the wind blowing hard enough to send them in.

Of course rain...this girl had to hold me up before I could get out to the quidditch pitch. "Basically, my specialty is causing trouble, chaos, and overall confusion." he answered.

"Well doesn't that sound dizzying." she commented as she pulled her wand from behind her ear. Rain was nice, but this was going to be an all out thunderstorm. And just as she had flicked her wand and shut the window, thunder boomed and could be heard throughout the whole castle and grounds. Sophie shrieked loudly and jumped what seemed two feet into the air. She hated thunder just as much as she hated spiders. Her breath was heavy from the fright and she clutched her chest where her heart was beating rapidly.

"You seem to be having lots of fun. Now i know you hate thunder. What could i do with that?" he asked. Hopefully the thunder would get worse.

Sophie hated others knowing her fears, this just made her insecurities worse. "Well aren't you a prat." Sophie told him coldly, shivering and holding herself tightly. Lightning struck somewhere in the forest and thunder rolled on loudly again. Sophie pulled her legs up closer to her chest, her skirt and robes falling a little. She set her chin on her knees and shivered again.

There she goes again...afraid of thunder...this couldn't be her only fear...but even if it is...theres plenty he could do with that. He just has to think. Something he usually hates, but about now, it'll help. "So now you're going to go back to being annoying?" She needs to look in a mirror if she think i'm a prat. Hopefully she didn't find out about his fears of spiders. That could ruin any plans he comes up with. "Calling me a prat? Have you seen yourself?" he snapped.

"Oh so I'm a prat?" She question, narrowing her eyes as she turned herself toward him. "Trying to use the thunder against me, that's real Gryffindor-esque. Why weren't you in Slytherin if you're this devious?" She questioned, making sure her arms were securely around her knees and trying to cover herself as her robes kept falling off her legs. "And I'm not annoying, I have no idea where you get that idea." She commented, smiling with her eyes narrowed still, flipping her curls around her face.
